Puncheart

This project is focused upon the design of the new concept of a punching tool that is able to make a hole large enough for a coin. This ability gives this project its unique edge and innovative design. With this punching tool, we are able to produce our own coin boxes by ourselves using empty bottles. These can then be used as donation boxes, with the money we save being donated to the third world. It is not only a tool for giving money, but also for sharing our love with one another. After donation, donors can receive feedback via UNICEF, such as photos and letters, from the people.

Smartstreets-Smartbin™

A multiple patented litter bin with unique capabilities, the Smartbin™ complements existing street infrastructure mounting as a twin, back-to-back around any size or shape of lamp post or sign post, or in solo format onto walls, railings and plinths. The Smartbin is transforming street care in cities worldwide by enabling an effective response to cigarette and gum litter.

Gris

Decrease of water resources is a world wide problem these days. It’s crazy that we still use drinking water to flush the toilet! Gris is an incredibly cost effective water-saving-system which can collect all the water you use during a shower. You can reuse this collected greywater for flushing the toilet, cleaning the house and for certain washing activities. This way you can save at least 72 liter water/person/day in an average household which means at least 3.5 billion liter saved water per day in such an 50 million habitant country like Colombia.

360° Water Barrier

When flash floods or high tide arrives, the road barrier will move its metal shutter to the other road barrier, creating a line of defence across the flood-prone areas. During low tide periods or mega events, the barrier can be lowered to match the street level for easier crossing. Using the existing road barriers, we can make some improvements to it so as to deter any flash floods or open up to any major events.

Fight Aids

HIV is surrounded by a lot of rumors and misinformation. Hundreds of teens in the Global become infected with HIV every year through unprotected sex or needle sharing. A much smaller number of teens with HIV were born to mothers who were infected. Today, there is hope that people living with HIV may never even become sick, just like there's no cure for viruses like colds and the flu. People living with the virus have to be extra careful not to take risks (like having unprotected sex) that could expose others to HIV.
