This unique design gives women unprecedented autonomy through the independence to adapt it according to available resources. In addition, the pad offers high performance, unique comfort and ergonomics at an almost universally accessible low cost.

Tentative

Tentative is a smart compact post disaster shelter tent. A simple yet innovative tent is a way to bring fast practical shelter to emergency disaster victims; the collapsible tent is flat packed for easy transport and is suitable for all climates and only an hour to pop up with necessary few tools. The compact disaster shelter is made of a fiber and a durable weather resistant textile which is quilted sewed and consists thermally insulated perlite in between. It uses a roof that helps in collecting water and providing lighting and ventilation.

inflatable house

The white (or printed) PVC unit evokes the shape of a traditional house and relies on a modular structure. It is made of inflatable elements 1,60 m (usable) wide, 2,70 m long and 27 cm wide each. Anchored to a system of composite plastic platforms (recycled and recyclable material), the modules are connected by zippers that make the unit waterproof. Once the unit’s length is set, each module ends with non-inflatable filling panels that include either a door or a window. Refugee Wearable Shelter

ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART Interior Design & Textiles students have developed an innovative and multi-functional wearable dwelling in direct response to the Syrian refugee crisis, The brief was set by their tutors, Dr Harriet Harriss & Graeme Brooker. The garment is designed to adapt from a jacket with large storage pockets into a sleeping bag and also a tent. Blue Frontiers Ship

It all started with the tragic moment that the world has experienced in recent times and challenged the designer Luis Felipe Rocco to create a hospital ship with the maximum renewable energy capacity to operate in the most difficult area. Considering that a billion people live in coastal regions, a hospital ship with this capability is a fast and economical way to reach to this area.The Blue Frontiers Ship works with 12 decks, large area of relaxation and conviviality on the top floor and capacity for 500 people working for the benefit of 160 patients.
