Uncomfortable Immersion

This project explores the way that Western society deals with grief; especially in adolescents. It considers the emotional complexities within grief and the socio-cultural misconceptions. Personal autonomy was strongly encouraged in their grief journey, using Human-Centred Design. A grief book was created to guide the bereaving to construct ritual objects, which help the adolescent process and comprehend at their own pace, while maintaining important metaphysical relationships with the deceased in the form of tangible reminders of the deceased through their handwriting onto crafted objects.

X-Space

In some kinds of situations of the fire that passageway has been blocked in accident. No matter what you do, you cannot escape from the fire through the door. To find a solution for trapped person get away form the fire quickly, the team find the point in window frame redesign. X-Space is redesign of the window frame including rotational structure holder. When fire coming up, all family members can easily get out of the fire through the X-Space avoiding the injury from the fire and smoke behind the outer wall.

Yongai E Home

The life in a city is usually fast-paced and self-enclosed. The designer hopes to create a temporary homelike lounge in the city through a lighting box with warmth. The project is a special box located in the city center, serving as a warm light in the city. It provides a home-like rest stop for city workers in busy areas, offering convenient services such as a place for short breaks, drinking water, charging stations, first-aid kits, and various other amenities.

Not Always Fun

The ad campaign aims to raise awareness about Harlequin syndrome. This is a syndrome affecting the autonomic nervous system and is associated with absence of sweating and flushing of skin on one side of the face. The agency developed key visual illustrations which are based on the juxtaposition of the different representations of harlequin aiming to shed light on the disparity between the comical representation of the character and the reality of living with Harlequin syndrome, emphasizing the need for greater understanding and awareness of the condition.

Jinaga

This system allows people with disabilities, such as the disabled and the elderly, to pass through the subway ticket gate without a card tag. Just by carrying this small device, the door opens automatically when you pass through the ticket gate, and you can pass through naturally. This system recognizes without malfunction as a car smart key method. It is currently being implemented in some subways in Korea. With the attachable system module, you can easily upgrade a regular ticket gate to a smart pass ticket gate, and all information such as fare tally is transmitted to the control room.
