Tokyo Sento Project

Creating a community based in sustainable SENTO. 1. Management of WEB media connecting young people and public baths. 2. Management of SENTO as experiment site to provide SENTO for one of the occupation. 3. Connect SENTO to companies as media that advertisement and event places. 4. Make an environment in which new companies, occupations and organizations that related SENTO are established. Through these activities, we have made the SENTO which was a declining industry a necessity for the present society.

The Urban Serene

The self-service library station at HK Cultural Centre is the second station launched in Hong Kong, which provide 24-hours borrow and return service to the public. It takes reference from the unique architectural features of the HK Cultural Centre. The modern and minimal design brings highlight to the left-over space and provides a comfortable and functional library station to the public. The design will serve as a prototype for library stations at other districts with insertion of different materials and transparencies into the generic structural frame to suit various site conditions.

Perigives

Perigives has created foldable posters with pockets, enabling people to give and receive menstruation products without barriers. These posters are distributed in female public restrooms and are accessible on Perigives' website to anyone who wants to help. The posters are designed sto be easily put together, uses the least amount of ink possible and 2 different sizes for people to choose from. The 4 colors red, yellow, brown, and off-white embody menstruation and all races as inclusivity are equally as important to Perigives.

Care for Mom to Be

Care for Mom To Be is a campaign that promotes awareness of the needs of traveling pregnant women. It encourages other to offer a seat on a train or a place to park their car. The campaign grows from a logo that combines the figure of a pregnant person and the shape of a heart. This was designed to appeal to both men and women, and to encourage both sexes to respond positively.

Wireframe

The wireframe program aims to bring affordable electricity to village households in developing countries by training locals how to build, service and spread the extremely cost effective WF II. turbine, made mainly out of recycled components - and teaching chosen residents how to create the most efficient turbines and reliable electrical grid and infrastructure from regionally given materials, with accessible technologies and tools.

Coin Collection

The Coin Collection Program launched by HKMA is a creative solution based on the concept of a mobile bank at your doorstep. Two coin collection carts remodeled from 10-tonnes vehicles equipped with coin counting machines were created by Oval Design to provide coin exchange services to the public free of charge. This is the first of its kinds in the world. The project promotes environmental friendliness through encouraging the public to channel back coins to the circulation system, and incorporates elements of CSR as citizens can donate small change to charity.
